I’m laughing but you are right of course. THAT is why they put those big arches – so everyone knows where the Laurel District starts, except me apparently. There’s a reason my business card says, “Village Idiot.” Anyway I’m like you, I’m claiming Oakland Acupuncture as part of the Dimond.

WOOO HOOO on the Oktoberfest. If PeaceWarrior says it is so, IT IS SO. She should know, she’s one of the organizers. I CAN’T WAIT. I hope we get a Dimond Beer Mug! Sauerkraut for everyone!

Thanks for keeping us posted about the local news. Just wanted to correct you about Oakland Acupuncture being in the Laurel district. I believe the Laurel starts at 35th, isn’t that the reason they put those giant arches there, so people would know where the Laurel district starts. I think that little strip from Coolidge to 35th is the Bret Harte district. But I’m like you girl, I say the Dimond district should claim all cool things in the hood. And I know for a fact the Oktoberfest is happening, so get out your best German outfit, maybe we can design our very own Dimond Beer Mug, something that says, Germans in the Hood.
