Clausen House Donation

Pictured below, far left, is Peter Brooks, Development Director of Clausen House. He was at Farmer Joe’s Marketplace in the Dimond District accepting a $1500 donation from Farmer Joe’s Diana and Joe Tam this afternoon. This donation is 100% of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales. Also pictured are Wayne and Dal, our T-shirt guys. Peter expressed his gratitude for the large donation, and then could not resist the urge to go shopping. We all know that urge only too well. He left with a big bag of goodies and a big check for a worthy cause.

Maxwell Park’s A Day in the Park

Maxwell Park is hosting their second annual Day in the Park. Come and have fun Saturday, September 15, 2007, in Maxwell Park, Fleming Avenue between Courtland Avenue and Monticello Avenue. Local musicians will be featured along with a variety of other talent, activities for the kids and youth, delicious barbeque, neighborhood businesses, and of course – neighborhood chit chat. Fun, music, food and comradery!
